WRITING DAZE

Some days will be great writing days. Words will just pour out of you and you'll feel invincible. "LOOK AT THIS BRILLIANT MASTERPIECE!"
Other days you'll stare at the same page for hours, annoyed with every word you put on it.
Ugh.
There's really no rhyme or reason as to why this happens but I do know this.
You will never fail at writing, even though you feel what you've written is bad. The great thing about words on a page is you can strengthen them, change them or delete them if they aren't serving you or the story.
It's a process.
It's not perfect.
You'll have great writing days.
You'll have terrible writing days.
Remember this: Your writing is making you a better author. Your words are making you a great author.
Say that with me again: Your writing is making you a better author. Your words are making you a great author.
That simple mantra can change what you might see as "bad" writing days to something you can learn from and build on.
I dare you to try it. 💋
