REMEMBER YOUR WHY
Is self-doubt or the dreaded imposter syndrome stopping you from writing? Don't worry, we've all been there. So what should you do? That's easy. Remember your "why" for writing the story in the first place.
Why do you want to tell this story?
What is it that you have to say through these characters?
Why are you using the power of words and story to deliver this message?
Your "why" can be any number of things. There's no right or wrong answer, it's YOUR "why."
If you forget that "why," it's easy to lose focus and motivation.

Shift yourself back into the vibe of your "why" and remind yourself about it whenever you need to.
As an author, I've dealt with this more times than I care to admit. But you know what? We're all human. We all have our moments of doubt.
The thing that gets me through it is knowing that I don't just want to write this story, I have to. This world I'm creating, these characters I'm bringing to life HAVE to reveal themselves through my words and voice.
And guess what? You have to write yours, too. The world needs your story. People are waiting to read it. 💋
